About Mixpost

Mixpost is a self-hosted social media scheduler sold as software you install, not a subscription. Freelancers and small agencies who are tired of paying Buffer or Hootsuite per seat run it on a cheap VPS. The free edition is Lite, released under the MIT licence, and it covers Facebook Pages, X profiles and Mastodon.

Only three networks. Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky and Google Business are all Pro.
No workspaces, approval workflows, AI assistant, API or webhooks in Lite.
Basic analytics only; the advanced reports are Pro.

Enterprise at $1,199 one-time adds white-label branding, subscription management and customer billing so you can resell it as a SaaS.

Who it suits

Lite suits a solo creator or small brand that lives on Facebook, X and Mastodon and is happy to run a Docker container. If your clients need Instagram or LinkedIn, Lite will not help and $299 once is still cheaper than a year of most hosted tools. Anyone who does not want to maintain a server should look elsewhere.
