1. About this website

freestack.tools ("the Site") is an informational directory that helps users discover free tools and software with generous free plans. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Information only: no guarantees

The information on this Site is provided for general informational purposes only. While we do our best to keep listings accurate and up-to-date, we make no warranties about the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any tool or information listed. Free plan details may change at any time. Always verify directly with the tool provider.

3. Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this Site are affiliate links. If you click and sign up for a product, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence which tools are listed or how they are ranked.

4. Paid listings

Listing a tool on the Site is a paid service for businesses and their representatives. The fee is US$25, one-time per listing, charged when you submit. A paid submission is the only way to have a tool listed on the Site.

Paid listings are provided by RJ Digital (rjdigital.fi), business ID 3453715-6.

The fee is shown excluding VAT. VAT is added at checkout where it applies, based on your billing address. Businesses in the EU can enter a valid VAT ID at checkout, in which case the reverse charge applies and no VAT is added. Customers outside the EU are charged no Finnish VAT.

The fee covers a review of the tool's free plan against the vendor's own pricing page, a detailed profile, and 7 days pinned in "Just launched" on the homepage and in the tool's category.

We review each paid submission and email you our decision within 72 hours of payment. If we decline it, we refund the full fee as described below.

Paying does not guarantee that a tool is listed, does not buy a followed link (outbound links stay marked as sponsored), and does not buy a place in our rankings or "best of" lists. We do not guarantee traffic, search engine rankings or mentions by AI assistants for any listing.

If we cannot verify a real free plan, or we decline to list the tool, we refund the full US$25 to the original payment method. Refunds usually take 5 to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank. Once a listing is published, the fee is not refundable.

Free plans change. We may update or remove a listing if the tool's free plan changes or ends, or if the information turns out to be inaccurate. You confirm that you are authorized to submit the tool and that what you submit is accurate.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach this Site. See the Privacy Policy for what we keep.

5. Eligible tools

We list two kinds of product: SaaS products run as real businesses, and genuine free web tools. A SaaS product is software delivered online as a service by an identifiable business, with a working product, a public website and a way to contact the company. A free web tool is a working tool that does a real job in the browser. Either way it needs a real free plan: one you can keep using without paying and without a card, an open-source tool that is free to self-host, or a freemium tier that is genuinely usable. We do not list free trials, plans that require a card to start, free plans too limited to do real work, or sites that are mainly a landing page, an affiliate or lead-generation page, or a content site rather than a working product.

We do not list tools in the following categories, whatever their free plan looks like: adult or sexually explicit content; gambling and betting; tobacco, vaping, alcohol and drugs; weapons; illegal goods or services; cryptocurrency trading and investment or financial advice; AI face-swap and deepfake tools; scams, get-rich-quick and pyramid or multi-level schemes; malware, spyware and hacking for hire; tools whose main purpose is to deceive, harass, or create non-consensual content of real people; and tools or companies we consider unreliable or untrustworthy.

We decide what is listed. We may decline any submission, paid or not, and may remove a listing later if it stops meeting these rules. If we decline a paid submission, we refund the full fee.

6. External links

The Site contains links to third-party websites. We have no control over these external sites and accept no responsibility for them.

7. Intellectual property

All original content on the Site is protected by applicable copyright laws. Tool names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of or reliance on information on this Site.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
