Cloudflare Pages hosts static sites and full-stack apps on Cloudflare's edge network, deploying straight from a Git push. Frontend developers, indie hackers and docs teams use it as a Netlify or Vercel alternative. The Free plan is unusually generous: unlimited sites, unlimited requests and unlimited bandwidth for static assets, with 500 builds a month.

What the free plan gives you

Static hosting really is free without a bandwidth meter, which is the main reason people move here from other hosts.

Where the free plan stops

• 500 builds a month and only 1 concurrent build. A busy team with preview deploys per pull request can queue up.
• 100,000 Functions requests a day. If your app relies on server-side rendering or APIs, this daily cap is the real ceiling.
• 20,000 files per site, which large documentation sites or image-heavy builds can exceed.

The Workers Paid plan at $5 a month lifts Functions to 10 million requests a month and adds paid overage. Cloudflare's Pro plan raises builds to 5,000 a month with 5 concurrent, and Business goes to 20,000 builds and 20 concurrent.

Who it suits

If your site is static, or mostly static with light server logic, the Free plan can host it in production indefinitely. Apps that render every page on the server should assume $5 a month for Workers Paid, and teams with many pull requests should watch the build count.
