How far 80 credits go depends on clip length and effect, but it is enough to test a few ideas a week rather than produce a steady stream of content.

Where the free plan stops

Three restrictions matter. Free clips are limited to 480p, they carry a Pika watermark, and the terms do not permit commercial use. Free generation is also slower, and video-to-video and Pikaframes are paid-only. The Standard plan lifts all of these: 700 credits a month, every resolution, no watermark, commercial rights, fast generation and Pikaframes. Pika lists Standard at $8 per month billed yearly, which is $96 a year. Pro costs $28 per month on annual billing for 2,300 credits and faster generation, and Fancy is $76 per month for 6,000 credits with the fastest queue.

Who it suits

The free plan is the right way to find out whether Pika's stylised look matches what you want before paying, and it is fine for personal experiments or a watermarked clip in a story. If you plan to post the output for a brand, sell it, or need 720p and above, Standard on an annual contract is the practical entry point, since the free tier's commercial-use restriction is a hard stop.
