Rank Math is a WordPress SEO plugin that handles on-page analysis, schema markup, sitemaps, redirects and Google Search Console reporting inside the WordPress admin. Bloggers and small agencies favour it over Yoast for the amount included at no cost. The free plugin from wordpress.org is a full product, not a stripped trial.
What the free plan gives you
On the free plugin you get focus keyword optimisation with a content score, 18 pre-defined schema types, an advanced redirection manager, a simple 404 monitor, XML sitemaps, Google Search Console integration with analytics refreshed every seven days, breadcrumbs, local SEO fields, and the setup wizard. There is no site limit for the free plugin, and the vendor's own comparison says the free tier has "Optimal Settings Pre-Selected" and a clean interface. Content AI is available only as a trial.
Where the free plan stops
Keyword rank tracking is the big absence: free tracks none, while PRO tracks 500 keywords. PRO also adds 6 extra schema types, daily analytics refresh, client site support and the WooCommerce and Google Trends extras. PRO costs €7.99 a month billed annually (€95.88 a year, renewing at €8.99 a month) for unlimited personal websites. Business at €24.99 a month covers 100 client sites and 10,000 keywords; Agency at €54.99 a month covers 500 sites and 50,000 keywords.
Who it suits
A single blog or small business site gets everything it needs for on-page SEO from the free plugin, and many never upgrade. Agencies that report rankings to clients, or anyone who wants tracked keywords and daily data, will find PRO worth the €96 a year.
