About Hugging Face Spaces
Hugging Face Spaces hosts ML demos and small apps built with Gradio, Streamlit or Docker, next to the models and datasets on the Hub. Researchers, indie developers and companies use it to publish a working demo in an afternoon. Every account gets free CPU Spaces with no expiry.
What the free plan gives you

Where the free plan stops
Free Spaces sleep after a period of inactivity, so the first visitor after a quiet spell waits for a cold start. ZeroGPU quota is small and you sit behind PRO users in the queue. Private storage is limited. PRO, at $9/mo, gives you 8x the ZeroGPU quota with highest queue priority, 10x private storage, 2x public storage and 20x the included inference credits. For always-on or heavier hardware you pay by the hour: CPU Upgrade (8 vCPU, 32 GB) is $0.03/hour, an Nvidia T4 small is $0.40/hour and an A10G small is $1.00/hour. Team is $20 per user per month and Enterprise $50 per user per month.
Who it suits
The free tier is enough to host a CPU model demo, a small Gradio interface or a data visualisation permanently. If your demo needs a GPU to respond in reasonable time, or must stay warm for users, PRO at $9/mo or an hourly GPU is the realistic minimum.
