DeployPass
FreeFree passive website security scanner for pre-deployment checks
Free plan checked against DeployPass's pricing page on . Re-checked monthly.

About DeployPass
DeployPass scans a public website for common deployment risks before you ship. It runs 19 passive checks covering security headers, CORS configuration, cookie flags, mixed content, and frontend exposure, then returns a pass or fail score with a shareable report. There is no login, port scanning, or exploitation involved, only observation of publicly visible responses. The whole product is free with no signup, and the vendor labels it free while the product is in beta. It is explicitly not a penetration test, so a pass does not prove an application is secure.
Key Features
Pros & Cons
The free plan in practice
What you can actually do on DeployPass's free plan (No account needed, unlimited passive scans), where it stops, and when it's worth paying.
What you can do free
- 19 passive security checks per scan
- Security headers, CORS, cookie flags, and mixed content checks
- Shareable scan reports
- No signup or account required
Where it stops
- Passive checks only, not a penetration test
- Cannot verify application security comprehensively
- Vendor notes paid monitoring and deeper scans may come later
When to upgrade to a paid plan
Stay on the free plan while you're comfortably under the free plan's limit (No account needed, unlimited passive scans). It's worth moving to a paid plan once you consistently bump into that ceiling, need to remove branding, or want features the free tier holds back.
